This difference makes GIS much more compact and suitable for restricted spaces, whereas AIS requires more space.<\/p><p>In terms of safety, GIS offers higher safety against environmental factors such as moisture, dust and pollution due to its complete insulation and enclosed equipment. Also, GIS requires less maintenance, but its initial cost is higher than AIS. In contrast, AIS is more commonly used in low-budget projects or locations with sufficient space due to its simpler structure and lower cost.
